چکیده
Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy is a fast and simple technique for functional group identification. This work provides review insight into the application interpretation of FTIR cementitious binders that comprise ordinary Portland cement, alkaline-activated binders, geopolymers, material characterization civil engineering applications. can be used to identify different compounds moiety bond vibrations in inorganic molecules such as Si-O, -OH, H-O-H (water), C-O (carbonate or carbonation), aluminosilicate (Si-O-T, where T Al Si), S-O (sulfate gypsum) found hydrated alkaline geopolymers. The prominent bands include those representing carbonation (CO32− 1390–1475 cm−1), calcium carbonate (871, 1792–2516 hydroxylation water (1607, 3400–3650 strength skeletal framework compositions Al-Si substitutions, silicate organization (C-A-S-H, N-A-S-H, C-S-H (950–1055 sulfate (600–680, 1080–1100 cm−1). Some factors could affect spectra elemental displacement due changes molar mass, activated temperature, pH, activator concentration, w/b ratio, Ca/Si Si/Al silica modulus (SiO2/Na2O) activators binder synthesis. method destructive non-destructive testing on paste sample by using transmission attenuated total reflectance methods, respectively.

The combination of gas chromatography (GC) with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) has gradually become the important analytical tool for qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex mixtures. Numerous applications have been reported in previous reviews. Separation and identification of components in complex mixtures can be a daunting task. GC is the most common technique for se...
متن کاملEXCESS THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES CALCULATIONS FOR ALCOHOLS IN INERT SOLVENTS BASED ON FOURIER TRANSFORM INFRARED SPECTROSCOPY MEASUREMENTS
Self-association of alcohols; including ethanol, methanol, cyclopentanol and octanol in separate mixtures with inert solvents have been studied using FT-IR spectroscopy. Except for the band at 3640 cm–1 in the IR spectrum of the alcohols which is due to the monomer species, the presence of other bands in the region of stretching vibrational frequencies of OH (3100-3700 cm–1) are attributed to t...

متن کاملCharacterization of Mucoadhesive Ciprofloxacin Suspensions by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy
Ciprofloxacin, an antibacterial agent, is having low solubility in aqueous solution and high rate of absorption from the stomach. It is precipitated at alkaline pH leading to erratic absorption of the drug from small intestine. To overcome these difficulties, controlled release mucoadhesive suspensions have been designed so that safe and effective blood level of Ciprofloxacin can be maintained ...
